The ILSCO PB3-600-2N is a mechanical connector lug rated for 600 MCM conductors in aluminum or copper wiring systems. Designed for 3-conductor terminations, this lug provides a secure, code-compliant connection point in high-capacity electrical distribution applications. It is installed by licensed electricians working on service entrances, switchgear, panelboards, and large feeder runs where full-size 600 MCM wire must be terminated reliably. The dual-rated aluminum-copper (AL/CU) construction allows use with either conductor material without requiring separate hardware.
This lug is suited for commercial and industrial electrical installations where 600 MCM feeder or service conductors must be landed on busbars, disconnects, or distribution equipment. The 3-conductor configuration makes it appropriate for multi-wire termination points on main lugs, transfer switches, and high-ampacity branch circuit equipment. It is not a residential-grade component and is typically specified on jobs governed by NEC requirements for service and feeder conductor terminations.
Designed as an OEM-style mechanical lug for use with 600 MCM aluminum or copper conductors in commercial and industrial electrical distribution equipment.
Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). De-energize and lock out the equipment fully before installing or removing any conductor lug. Use a calibrated torque wrench to tighten set screws to the manufacturer-specified torque value printed on the lug or its packaging — do not rely on hand-tight estimates for conductors of this size. Confirm the conductor insulation is stripped to the correct length and that the conductor is fully seated before torquing.
