The ILSCO PB2-750 is a dual-conductor compression lug rated for 750 MCM aluminum or copper conductors. It is designed for use in high-ampacity electrical termination applications where both aluminum and copper wiring must be accommodated in a single mechanical connection point. The lug accepts two conductors simultaneously, reducing the need for additional splicing hardware. Licensed electricians install this type of lug in service entrance equipment, switchgear, panelboards, and transformer terminations where large-gauge conductors are landed under a single barrel.
The PB2-750 is suited for commercial and industrial electrical installations that require reliable, code-compliant terminations on 750 MCM conductors. Its aluminum-copper (ALCU) rating makes it versatile for systems where conductor material may vary. Typical applications include utility service terminations, main distribution panels, and large commercial feeder connections where two conductors must be landed at the same lug point.
Designed as an OEM-style compression lug for use in commercial and industrial panelboards, switchgear, and service entrance equipment requiring 750 MCM dual-conductor terminations.
Installation of 750 MCM compression lugs must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). De-energize and lock out the circuit before beginning any termination work. A hydraulic compression tool sized for 750 MCM dies is required to achieve a proper crimp. Inspect the conductor stranding and lug barrel for contamination or damage before installing.
