The ILSCO CSWS-4-12 is a copper single-hole crimp lug designed for making secure, low-resistance terminations in electrical wiring systems. This type of lug is crimped onto a conductor using a standard compression tool, creating a permanent mechanical and electrical connection. The single-hole mounting configuration allows the lug to be bolted directly to a bus bar, terminal block, or equipment stud. Licensed electricians and panel technicians install this type of connector in commercial and residential electrical distribution work.
Copper crimp lugs in this style are used in power distribution panels, switchgear, motor control centers, and similar electrical assemblies. The CSWS-4-12 is suited for applications where a reliable, code-compliant termination is required on copper conductors. It is a common component in new construction wiring, service upgrades, and electrical maintenance work where proper conductor-to-equipment bonding is critical.
Designed as an OEM-style termination lug for copper conductor electrical installations requiring a single-hole crimp connection.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements. De-energize and lock out the circuit before making any terminations. Use a calibrated compression crimping tool rated for the conductor size to achieve a proper crimp. Do not use open-barrel lugs on aluminum conductors unless the product is specifically rated for aluminum.
