Product Description

The Ideal Industries 61-627 is a non-contact voltage tester designed to detect voltage without direct contact. This device operates within a voltage range of fifty to six hundred volts alternating current. It features a plastic-encased antenna that senses electromagnetic fields around live wires. When powered on, the tip emits a green LED. If voltage is detected, the light changes to red and an audible beep increases with voltage level. It requires two 1.5 volt AAA batteries for operation and includes an auto power-off feature, low battery indication, and a lanyard tie-off point.
