The IDEAL INDUSTRIES 30365 is the Twister AL/CU Wire Connector, a UL Listed and CSA Certified twist-on connector engineered specifically for aluminum-to-copper and copper-to-copper wiring connections. Pre-filled with an anti-oxidant compound, it prevents aluminum oxidation at the connection point, improving conductivity and reducing heat buildup. The swept-wing design allows comfortable hand installation or use with a standard nut driver. An internal live-action spring expands and contracts with aluminum wire movement to maintain a secure, lasting connection. Electricians working on residential or light commercial wiring rely on this connector where aluminum conductors meet copper terminations.

This connector is intended for aluminum-to-copper and copper-to-copper connections only. It must not be used on aluminum-to-aluminum connections. The hexagonal head accepts a standard nut driver for faster installation in multi-connector jobs. Compliant with National Electric Code Section 110-14(b), the 30365 is the only twist-on wire connector to carry both UL Listing and CSA Certification for aluminum-to-copper applications. Each unit is a single-use connector and should not be reused after the initial installation. This box contains 1,000 connectors, sized for Model 65, in purple.
