The IDEAL INDUSTRIES 30-1034j is a push-in wire connector from the In-Sure product line, designed for fast, tool-free splicing of branch-circuit and fixture wiring. The 4-port configuration accepts solid wire from 20 to 12 AWG and stranded wire from 16 to 12 AWG (19 strands or fewer), making it versatile across a wide range of conductor types including tin-bonded stranded wire. Rated at 600 volts for building wire and 1000 volts for signs and lighting fixtures, with a temperature rating of 105 degrees C, this connector suits both standard branch-circuit work and fixture rough-in applications. Electricians use it as a direct replacement for traditional twist-on wire nuts where push-in termination is preferred.

The 30-1034j is suited for residential and commercial electrical work wherever multi-conductor splices are made at junction boxes, fixture canopies, panel rough-ins, and sign installations. Its 4-port design allows up to four conductors to be joined in a single connector, reducing the need for pigtails in multi-wire connections. Installation Notes

Installation is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). De-energize and lock out the circuit before making any wire connections. Strip conductors to the length specified on the connector strip gauge before insertion — do not over-strip. Do not exceed the connector's rated wire size range or current rating of 20 amps; mixing conductor sizes outside the listed AWG ranges is not permitted.
