The INTERNATIONAL COMFORT PRODUCTS n4a724gka is a 2-ton, 17 SEER residential split-system air conditioner designed for single-phase electric installations using R-410A refrigerant. It runs on 208/230 volts and draws 14.5 amps at rated conditions. Cooling capacity is 24,000 BTU/h. The unit uses a two-stage scroll compressor paired with a two-speed condenser fan motor to match cooling output to actual load, improving both temperature stability and summer dehumidification. A factory-installed TXV refrigerant control and an integrated filter drier protect system components across the equipment's service life. Licensed HVAC contractors install this unit as part of a matched split system.
The n4a724gka is suited for residential cooling applications where efficiency and low ambient noise are priorities. The two-stage compressor allows the unit to run at partial capacity during mild conditions, reducing runtime noise and improving humidity removal at 74 dB rated sound output. The aluminum fin coil construction and corrosion-resistant cabinet are designed to hold up in outdoor environments with exposure to weather and airborne debris. This unit is Energy Star compliant and approved for sale in California under CEC requirements. It is non-communicating and integrates with standard residential thermostat and air handler configurations.
Designed as an OEM-style outdoor condensing unit for use in matched residential split-system cooling configurations within the N4A7 Series.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with local mechanical codes and the manufacturer's installation instructions. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power before making any electrical or refrigerant connections. The unit requires proper refrigerant line sizing, torque-appropriate flare or braze connections, and evacuation to manufacturer-specified micron levels before charging with R-410A. Verify that the matched indoor coil or air handler is compatible and that the system is commissioned with a TXV-equipped indoor section.
