The INTERNATIONAL COMFORT PRODUCTS EVDWX36M21A is a cased, vertical V-coil evaporator coil designed for use with R-410A refrigerant systems. This unit is an upflow or downflow service replacement coil built to integrate into split-system air conditioning and heat pump installations. Weighing 32 pounds and measuring 21 x 19.0625 inches, it is sized for 3-ton nominal capacity. Licensed HVAC technicians install this coil as part of a refrigerant circuit, where it absorbs heat from indoor air before returning refrigerant to the outdoor condensing unit.
This evaporator coil is intended for residential and light commercial vertical air handler or furnace-coil cabinet applications using R-410A refrigerant. The V-coil configuration maximizes surface area within the cabinet footprint, supporting efficient heat exchange at the 3-ton nominal rating. It is suited for upflow or downflow cased installations where a service-replacement coil is required to restore system operation without a full system change-out.
Designed as an OEM-style service replacement cased vertical evaporator coil for R-410A split-system air conditioning and heat pump applications at the 3-ton nominal capacity.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician certified to handle R-410A refrigerant under EPA Section 608 regulations. Shut down and lock out the electrical supply and recover all refrigerant from the system before removing the existing coil. Follow the equipment manufacturer's service documentation for proper line set connection, drain pan routing, and refrigerant charging procedures. Do not pressurize or charge the system until all connections have been leak-checked per industry standard practice.
