This 2-ton aluminum slope coil uses microchannel (MCHX) heat exchanger technology to deliver efficient heat transfer in a compact, vertically oriented cased assembly. Licensed HVAC technicians install this evaporator coil as part of a split-system air conditioning setup, pairing it with a matched outdoor condensing unit and air handler or furnace. The aluminum construction keeps weight manageable while providing solid corrosion resistance. At 23.6 pounds, the coil is straightforward to handle during installation.
This coil is suited for vertical cased installations in residential split-system AC applications. The S-coil configuration supports upflow and downflow orientations common in residential furnace-based air handler setups.
