The International Comfort Products dlcbhr42k1a is a multi-zone ductless split system heat pump condenser rated at 42,000 BTU/h with a 21 SEER efficiency rating. It operates on 208-230 volts at 60 Hz, single phase, drawing 24 amps. A variable-speed inverter-controlled compressor delivers precise temperature and humidity control across multiple zones simultaneously. The unit achieves indoor sound levels as low as 26 dB, making it well suited for noise-sensitive installations in residential and light commercial settings. Licensed HVAC technicians install this class of equipment as the outdoor condenser in a multi-zone ductless system.
The dlcbhr42k1a supports up to nine indoor air-handling units, allowing a single outdoor condenser to serve multiple rooms or zones. It includes enhanced summer dehumidification through inverter compressor modulation and provides 180-degree vertical air supply from the condenser. The system is Wi-Fi enabled for remote monitoring and control via a compatible smartphone app, and it ships with a wireless remote control. An optional wired remote is also available for fixed-wall installation. Up to eight indoor fan speeds are available in cooling mode and up to seven in heating mode, giving installers and end users fine-grained comfort control.
Designed as an OEM-style outdoor condenser for use in multi-zone ductless split system heat pump configurations with compatible indoor air-handling units.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with local mechanical codes and the manufacturer's guidelines. Disconnect and lock out all power at the electrical panel before beginning refrigerant line or electrical connections. Refrigerant handling requires EPA Section 608 certification. Verify that the electrical supply matches the unit's 208-230 volt, single-phase, 60 Hz requirements before energizing.
