The ICOOL f3811812050 is a plain-end refrigerant line set with pre-installed insulation, designed for use in split-system air conditioning and heat pump installations. This Type F line set ships in a 50-foot length and pairs a 3/8-inch liquid line with a 1 1/8-inch suction line, both wrapped in 1/2-inch-wall black foam insulation. The insulation reduces heat gain on the suction line and helps maintain system efficiency over the full run length. HVAC technicians use plain-end line sets when field brazing or flaring connections to the indoor air handler and outdoor condensing unit.
This line set is suited for residential and light-commercial split-system installations where the distance between the indoor and outdoor units requires a factory-insulated pre-cut run. The 50-foot length covers typical installations where the lineset must pass through walls, ceilings, or chases. The black insulation jacket is appropriate for exposed exterior runs where UV resistance and a finished appearance are required. Technicians working on new installations or full system replacements will find this a direct-use solution without the need to source and insulate individual copper lines on the job.
Designed as an OEM-style plain-end line set for residential and light-commercial split-system air conditioners and heat pumps requiring a 3/8-inch liquid line and 1 1/8-inch suction line.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local mechanical codes and the equipment manufacturer's instructions. Power off and lock out the system before making any connections, and recover any existing refrigerant per EPA Section 608 regulations before disconnecting an existing line set. Plain ends require field brazing with dry nitrogen flowing through the lines to prevent internal oxidation scale, or flaring with proper flaring tools rated for the line diameter. Avoid kinking the copper tubing during uncoiling and routing.
