This board manages the defrost cycle by combining time and temperature inputs to determine when defrost is needed and when to terminate it. The ICM322 solves this with a fixed 10-minute defrost time and pin-selectable intervals of 30, 50, or 90 minutes between defrost cycles, giving technicians flexibility to match the board to the specific system requirements on the job. It is a direct replacement for the Carrier CES0130024-00 defrost timer, making it a straightforward drop-in solution for service calls involving Carrier heat pump equipment.
