The ICC ICPCSX01YL is a Cat6a U/FTP patch cord designed for structured cabling installations in commercial and enterprise network environments. U/FTP construction means each twisted pair is individually foil-shielded while the overall cable remains unshielded, providing strong alien crosstalk rejection at a manageable flex radius. At 1 foot in length, this cord is sized for high-density patch panel connections where short runs keep cable management tight. Licensed network technicians and low-voltage installers deploy this type of cord in data centers, server rooms, and telecommunications closets where 10-Gigabit Ethernet performance is required.
This patch cord is suited for horizontal and backbone patching in Cat6a-rated cabling systems. The 1-foot length makes it a practical choice for connecting adjacent equipment in rack-mounted configurations, minimizing slack and reducing airflow obstruction in high-density installations. It is sold individually, one cord per unit.
Designed as an OEM-style patch cord for use with Cat6a-rated patch panels, switches, and network interface equipment using standard RJ45 ports.
Installation is performed by low-voltage technicians or network cabling specialists in accordance with ANSI/TIA-568 structured cabling standards. Ensure all termination points are clean and undamaged before seating the connectors. Do not exceed the minimum bend radius for shielded Cat6a cable, as sharp bends can compromise foil integrity and degrade signal performance. Verify that all connected equipment supports the same shielding scheme to maintain a continuous ground path and avoid ground loop issues.
