The ICC ICMPP02460 is a 24-port Cat6 patch panel designed for structured cabling installations in commercial and residential network environments. Featuring 8P8C (RJ-45) port architecture across all 24 ports, this panel provides a central termination and management point for horizontal cable runs in data rooms, server closets, and telecommunications distribution frames. Network technicians and low-voltage installers rely on this panel to organize and cross-connect copper cabling at the distribution point, keeping runs clean and patching flexible. Its Cat6-rated construction supports the bandwidth and performance demands of modern Ethernet networks.
This patch panel is suited for rack-mounted installations in both new construction and retrofit structured cabling projects. It serves as the termination point for solid-conductor Cat6 horizontal runs coming from work area outlets, consolidating connections at a central patch point for easy moves, adds, and changes. Typical deployments include enterprise LAN closets, school network infrastructure, healthcare facilities, and commercial office buildouts where organized, standards-compliant cabling infrastructure is required.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fit patch panel for Cat6 structured cabling systems terminating in 19-inch rack-mount enclosures with 8P8C RJ-45 horizontal runs.
Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage technician or licensed data communications installer in accordance with ANSI/TIA-568 structured cabling standards. De-energize and disconnect all active network equipment connected to the cable plant before beginning termination work. Use a 110-style punch-down tool to terminate individual conductors at the rear of the panel, following the T568A or T568B wiring scheme consistently throughout the installation. Secure the panel to rack rails with appropriate rack-mount hardware before terminating cables to avoid stress on terminated connections.
