The ICC INT'L CONNECTORS CABLE ICFOJ9C701 is a fiber optic jumper cable terminated with SC connectors on one end and ST connectors on the other, configured as a duplex multimode assembly in a 1-meter length. This patch cable is designed for short-run interconnections within fiber distribution panels, patch bays, and equipment racks. It carries optical signals between network equipment, switches, transceivers, and patch panels in structured cabling installations. Network technicians and low-voltage cabling contractors are the primary installers. The duplex configuration supports simultaneous bidirectional transmission over two fibers, which is standard in most active multimode deployments.
This jumper is suited for use in data centers, telecommunications rooms, and enterprise LAN environments where SC and ST connector interfaces need to be bridged. The 1-meter length fits tight rack-to-patch-panel runs and intra-cabinet connections. Multimode fiber is typical in campus and building backbone runs as well as horizontal distribution to active equipment with multimode SFP or transceiver ports. This cable ships as a single unit and is sold individually.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard patch cable for multimode fiber optic installations requiring SC to ST duplex interconnections in structured cabling systems.
Installation is performed by licensed low-voltage cabling contractors or qualified network technicians in accordance with applicable TIA/EIA structured cabling standards. Deactivate or power down connected transceivers and optical equipment before handling fiber connectors to avoid exposure to active laser light. Inspect connector end faces for contamination and clean with appropriate fiber optic cleaning tools before mating. Avoid bending the cable beyond its minimum bend radius to prevent signal loss or fiber damage.
