Icc ICCMSR1972 6U Relay Rack Black

Product Description

The ICC ICCMSR1972 is a 6-unit relay rack finished in black, designed to mount and organize network, telecommunications, and low-voltage distribution equipment in structured cabling installations. Relay racks provide an open-frame mounting solution for patch panels, switches, power strips, and ancillary hardware where a full enclosed cabinet is not required. This rack is sold as a single unit and is typically specified by low-voltage cabling contractors, IT installers, and telecommunications technicians working in server rooms, telecom closets, and equipment rooms.

The ICCMSR1972 suits residential and commercial structured cabling environments where space is at a premium and technicians need fast, accessible front-and-rear access to installed equipment. Its open-frame relay rack design makes it a practical choice for wall-adjacent or floor-standing installations in telecom rooms, data closets, and network equipment rooms. The black finish coordinates with standard rack-mount equipment and enclosures commonly found in these environments.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage cabling technician or IT infrastructure professional familiar with structured cabling standards such as ANSI/TIA-568 and ANSI/TIA-569. Ensure all power to connected equipment is removed before mounting or servicing rack-installed hardware. Secure the relay rack to the floor or wall per the manufacturer instructions and local building codes before loading equipment. Verify that the total weight of installed equipment does not exceed the rack rated load capacity.
