The HYDROQUIP 417-5980-KIT is a Waterway 2.5" Union Tailpiece Kit. This heater tailpiece measures 2.5" MBT x 2.5" slip and accepts PVC pipe that is 2-7/8" OD, and includes a 2.5" x 2" reducer. Note that the O-ring gasket is not included. This tailpiece kit replaces 42-2373-K.
