The HUNTER INDUSTRIES PGJ00 is a shrub-mount rotor sprinkler head designed for low-angle irrigation coverage in landscaped areas where standard pop-up rotors are not practical. This head installs on a fixed riser or shrub adapter and delivers rotating arc coverage suited to ground-level or elevated shrub beds. Weighing 0.17 pounds, it is a lightweight unit intended for residential and light commercial irrigation systems. Licensed irrigation technicians and landscape contractors are the typical installers, though knowledgeable DIYers working within local watering ordinances also fit this product.
The PGJ00 is used in drip-to-rotor conversion zones, shrub bed installations, and areas where a pop-up head would be obstructed by mulch or dense groundcover. It accepts a 0.5-inch inlet connection, making it compatible with standard half-inch risers and swing-joint assemblies commonly used in residential landscape irrigation. It is well suited to systems operating within typical residential irrigation pressure ranges and is appropriate for both new installations and retrofit of existing shrub zones.
Designed as an OEM-style shrub rotor for use with standard half-inch riser and swing-joint irrigation assemblies in residential and light commercial landscape systems.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed irrigator or landscape contractor. Shut off the irrigation system and relieve line pressure before threading the rotor onto the riser. Use Teflon tape on threaded connections and avoid overtightening to prevent body cracking. Installations should comply with local water authority regulations and any applicable backflow prevention requirements.
