The HUNTER INDUSTRIES MP800SR90 is a short-radius MP Rotator nozzle designed for low-volume irrigation coverage in tight or restricted spray zones. It delivers a matched precipitation rate across a 90-to-210-degree arc, making it compatible with other MP Rotator models in multi-head irrigation layouts. The nozzle threads into a standard female-threaded riser or pop-up body. At 0.03 pounds, it is a lightweight retrofit or new-installation nozzle well suited for residential and light commercial turf and groundcover applications. Irrigation technicians and landscape contractors install this nozzle as part of water-efficient spray head conversions or new system builds.
The MP800SR90 is intended for short-radius coverage patterns where standard-radius nozzles would overshoot the target area. Its 90-to-210-degree adjustable arc range allows precise coverage of corner zones, narrow strips, and irregular turf shapes. It is commonly installed on standard pop-up spray bodies with female-threaded inlets. The slow, rotating stream delivery reduces runoff and misting compared to conventional fixed-spray nozzles, making it a practical choice for water-conservation-focused irrigation projects in residential and commercial landscapes.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation nozzle for standard female-threaded pop-up spray bodies commonly used in residential and light commercial irrigation systems.
Installation is performed by licensed irrigation technicians or qualified landscape contractors. Shut off the irrigation system water supply and depressurize the line before removing or installing any nozzle. Thread the MP800SR90 onto a compatible female-threaded spray body riser and hand-tighten only — do not use tools that may crack the nozzle body. After installation, run the zone through a full cycle to verify arc adjustment, radius, and matched precipitation rate with adjacent heads.
