The HUNTER INDUSTRIES icd200 is a 2-station decoder designed for two-wire irrigation control systems. It connects field solenoids to a central controller over a single pair of wires, allowing multiple stations to run on one cable run. The icd200 includes integrated surge suppression and a ground wire connection to protect against electrical transients. Licensed irrigation technicians and commercial landscape contractors install this decoder as part of large-scale, high-station-count two-wire systems where conventional multi-conductor wiring is impractical.
The icd200 is suited for residential and commercial irrigation installations that require long-distance wire runs. It is specifically designed for use with ACC99D and ACC2 controller applications, supporting two-way communications between the decoder and the central controller. This two-way capability allows the controller to confirm decoder status and report field faults, which reduces diagnostic time during service calls. Typical installations include golf courses, sports fields, municipal parks, and large commercial landscapes.
Compatible with Hunter ACC99D and ACC2 two-wire decoder controller applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed irrigation technician familiar with two-wire decoder systems. Disconnect and de-energize the two-wire path at the controller before connecting or replacing any decoder in the field. Proper grounding of the surge suppression circuit is essential and should follow the manufacturer wiring guidelines and applicable local codes. Do not splice the two-wire path without using approved waterproof connectors rated for direct burial.
