The HUNTER 44005220 is the MP2000 MP Rotator nozzle configured for a 90 to 210 degree arc with a throw radius of 16 to 21 feet. It uses a multi-trajectory rotating stream delivery system to apply water at a slower, more controlled rate than conventional spray nozzles. This low precipitation rate allows water to infiltrate the soil gradually, reducing runoff and promoting more uniform coverage. The result is meaningful water savings compared to standard fixed-spray heads. The nozzle threads onto any conventional spray head body or shrub adapter using a female connection type, making it a straightforward upgrade for existing irrigation systems. Installation requires no specialized tools beyond standard irrigation trade know-how.
The MP2000 90-210 nozzle is suited for residential and light commercial turf and landscape beds where irregular or partial-circle coverage is needed. Its adjustable arc range of 90 to 210 degrees makes it practical for corners, edges, and non-standard zones. Because it delivers matched precipitation at any arc setting within that range, mixed installations with other MP Rotator nozzles maintain uniform water distribution across a zone without creating wet or dry spots. Irrigation technicians and landscape contractors are the primary installers for this type of nozzle in both new system builds and retrofit applications.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement nozzle for any conventional spray head body or shrub adapter that accepts a standard female-thread MP Rotator nozzle.
Installation is performed by licensed irrigation technicians or qualified landscape irrigation contractors. Shut off the irrigation system water supply and relieve pressure before removing or installing nozzles. Hand-thread the nozzle onto the spray head body until snug — do not over-tighten plastic fittings. After installation, run the zone and verify arc adjustment and radius trim settings before backfilling or closing the valve box.
