The HUNT ELECTRONICS hnc348g2p-xdlusl is an 8-megapixel exterior panoramic turret camera designed for continuous 24/7 full-color surveillance. It uses dual 1/1.8-inch progressive scan CMOS sensors to deliver a maximum resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels across a 180-degree horizontal field of view. The camera supports H.265+ video compression, Power over Ethernet (PoE) connectivity, and includes a built-in microphone and speaker for two-way audio and audible alarm output. White light supplemental illumination reaches up to 30 meters, enabling true color imaging in complete darkness. It is installed by licensed security integrators and surveillance technicians in exterior commercial and residential perimeter applications.
This camera is suited for exterior perimeter monitoring where wide-angle, panoramic coverage is required without the use of multiple fixed cameras. The 180-degree horizontal FOV makes it effective for covering building facades, parking lots, loading docks, and entryways in a single unit. It carries an IP67 weatherproof rating, operates in temperatures from -22 degrees F to 140 degrees F, and supports smart detection events including line crossing, intrusion detection, and region entrance and exiting detection with human and vehicle classification. On-board microSD storage up to 256 GB and NAS compatibility provide flexible recording options.
Designed for use with PoE-capable NVRs and network video management systems supporting Open Network Video Interface (Profile S, Profile G, Profile T), ISAPI, and SDK integration. Compatible mounting accessories include electrical box HTH-280ZJ-DM55, wall mount HTH-473ZJ-155, pendant mount HTH-471ZJ-155, pole mount HTH-275ZJ, and corner mount HTH-276ZJ.
Installation should be performed by a qualified security systems technician familiar with IP camera deployment and low-voltage wiring practices. Power down the network switch port or PoE injector before making cable connections. Ensure the mounting surface and selected bracket are rated for the camera weight and local wind load requirements. Conduit sealing and junction box installation should comply with applicable local electrical codes for exterior wet-location wiring.
