The HUNT ELECTRONICS hnc326g2-xd is a 6-megapixel EXIR turret camera built for outdoor surveillance installations. It uses a 1/2.8-inch progressive scan CMOS sensor to deliver a maximum resolution of 3200 x 1800 at up to 20 fps, or 30 fps at 2688 x 1520 and lower resolutions. True Wide Dynamic Range at 120 dB and 3D Digital Noise Reduction allow the camera to produce clean, usable footage across high-contrast scenes. The built-in EXIR illuminator reaches up to 100 feet, supporting around-the-clock monitoring without supplemental lighting. Licensed security technicians and low-voltage integrators handle installation in exterior applications where weatherproofing and reliable night performance are required.
The hnc326g2-xd is designed for exterior use in commercial and residential IP surveillance systems. It powers over a standard PoE (802.3af) network connection, eliminating the need for a dedicated power run to each camera location. The camera supports multiple video compression formats including H.265, H.264, H.264+, and H.265+ on the main and third streams, along with MJPEG on the sub-stream, making it compatible with most modern NVR platforms that support ONVIF or PSIA standards. Bit rates are adjustable from 32 Kbps to 16 Mbps to suit available network bandwidth. Compatible electrical box and mounting accessories include HTH-285ZJ-M(B), HTH-280ZJ-M, wall mounts HTH-273ZJ-130B-TRL and HTH-273ZJ-130-TRL, corner and pole mounts HTH-276ZJ and HTH-275ZJ, and ceiling mount HTH-271ZJ-130-TRL.
Compatible with ONVIF, PSIA, and CGI-based NVR platforms. Mounting accessories include electrical boxes HTH-285ZJ-M(B) and HTH-280ZJ-M, wall mounts HTH-273ZJ-130B-TRL and HTH-273ZJ-130-TRL, corner mount HTH-276ZJ, pole mount HTH-275ZJ, and ceiling mount HTH-271ZJ-130-TRL.
Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage or security systems technician in accordance with applicable local codes. Power down the PoE switch port before making or breaking the network connection at the camera. Select the appropriate fixed focal lens (2.8 mm or 4 mm) for the intended field of view before mounting, as the lens is not field-interchangeable after installation. Verify that the mounting surface and selected accessory bracket are rated to support the camera weight and expected environmental loads.
