The HUBBELL WIRING DEVICE-KELLEMS WS1001W is a passive infrared vacancy sensor wall switch designed for indoor lighting control. Unlike an occupancy sensor, a vacancy sensor requires manual activation and turns off automatically when no motion is detected within the coverage zone. This switch covers up to 1200 square feet with a 180-degree detection pattern and supports manual delay adjustment, giving the installer direct control over the off-delay timing. It is rated for use with CFL, fluorescent, incandescent, and LED fixtures, making it a versatile retrofit or new-installation solution. Electricians and lighting controls technicians install this device in place of a standard single-pole wall switch.
