The HUBBELL PREMISE WIRING KP212 is a single-gang, dual coaxial faceplate designed for use with the Keystone (KP) Series modular wiring system. It provides two coaxial cable ports in a standard single-gang wall plate footprint, allowing technicians to terminate and present coax connections cleanly at the work area outlet. The faceplate accepts Keystone-style coaxial inserts, which are installed separately. Network cabling contractors, low-voltage electricians, and AV installers use this faceplate when building out structured wiring systems in commercial and residential environments.
The KP212 is suited for structured cabling installations where two coaxial signal paths are needed at a single outlet location. Typical applications include cable television distribution, satellite feed terminations, and RF signal routing in both light commercial and residential buildings. The single-gang format fits standard electrical boxes and surface-mount raceway assemblies, making it a practical choice for new construction and retrofit work alike.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard installation faceplate for single-gang Keystone Series structured cabling systems; accepts snap-in Keystone coaxial inserts sold separately.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed low-voltage technician or structured cabling contractor. Mount to a standard single-gang electrical box or compatible surface-mount raceway housing before inserting Keystone modules. Ensure all signal sources are disconnected before terminating coaxial inserts to avoid RF interference or equipment damage. Follow applicable building codes and TIA-568 structured cabling standards for proper outlet placement and labeling.
