The HUBBELL PREMISE WIRING FHPBKLTR12SCA6S is a single-mode fiber optic pigtail bundle terminated with SC/APC (angled physical contact) connectors and featuring a 250-micron coating. Pigtail bundles of this type are used to terminate fiber optic distribution or breakout assemblies by splicing one end directly to a fiber strand and connecting the pre-terminated SC/APC connector to an active device or patch panel port. The SC/APC connector type produces low back-reflection, making it well-suited for analog signal transmission, CATV overlay, and other loss-sensitive single-mode applications. Licensed low-voltage technicians and fiber optic installers are the typical end users for this product.
This pigtail bundle is intended for use in structured cabling installations, telecommunications rooms, data centers, and campus backbone fiber runs where single-mode glass fiber is deployed. The SC/APC connector format is common in FTTx, passive optical network (PON), and long-haul single-mode infrastructure. Installers use these pigtails to terminate loose-tube or tight-buffered single-mode fiber inside enclosures, splice trays, or fiber distribution hubs.
Designed as an OEM-style termination solution for single-mode fiber optic distribution enclosures, splice trays, and patch panels accepting SC/APC connectors.
Installation should be performed by qualified fiber optic technicians following TIA-568 and TIA-526 standards. De-energize all active optical equipment before handling fiber strands. Use appropriate fusion splicing or mechanical splicing equipment when joining the pigtail to the trunk fiber. Avoid sharp bends that exceed the rated minimum bend radius of the fiber to prevent signal loss or fiber breakage.
