The HUBBELL PREMISE WIRING C6ASRDSB is a Cat6A unshielded twisted-pair (UTP) riser-rated (CMR) data cable engineered for high-performance structured cabling installations. Carrying a CMR rating, it meets riser fire-propagation requirements for vertical runs between floors in commercial and residential buildings. Cat6A supports 10-Gigabit Ethernet at frequencies up to 500 MHz, making it the standard choice for modern network infrastructure buildouts. Licensed electricians and low-voltage cabling technicians install this cable in backbone and horizontal runs where long-term bandwidth headroom is required.
The C6ASRDSB is suited for in-wall and in-ceiling riser pathways in commercial office buildings, schools, healthcare facilities, and multi-story residential construction. It is appropriate for structured cabling systems governed by ANSI/TIA-568 standards and is commonly pulled in conduit or open-air plenum-free vertical shafts. The CMR jacket classification makes it a direct fit for inter-floor backbone segments where plenum-rated cable is not required by code.

Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage technician or electrician in accordance with NEC Article 800 requirements for communications riser cable. De-energize and lock out any adjacent electrical circuits before pulling cable through shared pathways. Avoid sharp bend radii that exceed the cable manufacturer's minimum bend radius, and do not exceed rated pulling tension during installation. Terminate to Cat6A-rated jacks and patch panels to maintain full channel performance.
