Product Description

The HONEYWELL Z90Y00811-16 is a traffic zone yellow latex marking paint formulated for fast-dry pavement applications on streets, parking lots, and other paved surfaces. Water-based and latex-bound, it dries to a flat finish in approximately 10 minutes at 77 degrees F and 50% relative humidity. Coverage runs 300 to 350 square feet per gallon, or roughly 320 lineal feet at a 4-inch stripe width. The formula meets or exceeds current VOC regulations and conforms to Federal Specification TT-P-01952E Types I and II. This product is applied by professional line striping crews using dedicated spray equipment.

This paint is intended for use on cured asphalt, concrete, brick, and other hardened street or highway surfaces. It is suited for both residential parking areas and commercial or municipal roadway marking projects. Application is performed by line striping contractors and road maintenance crews using airless or conventional spray line equipment. Do not apply to wet surfaces.

Compatibility

Apply with an airless line sprayer at 1800 to 2700 psi using a .015 to .019 inch tip, or with a conventional line sprayer at 20 to 80 psi atomization pressure. Not suitable for brush or roller application.

Installation Notes

Application must be performed with an airless or conventional line sprayer — brush and roller application are not permitted. Surface must be fully cured and dry before painting; do not apply to wet surfaces. Thin with water up to 12.5% by volume if needed for spray consistency. After use, flush spray equipment with mineral spirits to prevent internal rusting, and clean hands and tools immediately with soap and warm water.
