Product Description

The HONEYWELL Z90L00812-16 is a fast-dry, water-based latex traffic paint formulated for pavement marking on streets, parking lots, and other paved surfaces. This handicap blue paint dries to a flat finish in approximately 10 minutes at 77 degrees F and 50% relative humidity. Coverage runs 300 to 350 square feet per gallon, or approximately 320 lineal feet when applied as a 4-inch stripe. The formula meets or exceeds current VOC regulations and conforms to Federal Specification TT-P-01952E Types I and II. It is applied by airless or conventional line sprayer and is cleaned up with soap and warm water.

This paint is intended for use on cured asphalt, concrete, brick, and other street or highway surfaces. It is commonly used by pavement marking contractors, parking lot maintenance crews, and facilities teams for ADA-compliant handicap stall designations and accessible route markings. Application requires a line sprayer — brush or roller application is not suitable for this product. Do not apply to wet surfaces. The product ships as a single 1-gallon unit.

Compatibility

Designed for use on cured asphalt, concrete, brick, and other standard street or highway pavement surfaces. Not for use on uncured or wet surfaces.

Installation Notes

Apply using an airless line sprayer at 1800 to 2700 psi with a 0.015 to 0.019 inch tip, or a conventional line sprayer at an atomization pressure of 20 to 80 psi. Do not use a brush or roller. If thinning is required, thin with water up to 12.5% by volume. After use, flush spray equipment with mineral spirits to prevent internal rusting, and clean hands and tools immediately with soap and warm water.
