The Honeywell WT8840B1500/U water heater gas valve is suitable for standing pilot applications. It utilizes an immersion well for accurate water temperature sensing. The valve contains an integrated NTC temperature sensor which monitors water temperature, reaching up to two hundred twenty-one degrees Fahrenheit. This model serves as a replacement for the WV8840 valves found in AO Smith and Bradford White Water Heaters.
