The HONEYWELL TD-090 is a combination pressure and temperature gauge, commonly called a tridicator, designed for use in residential and light commercial boiler systems. It features a 3-1/8 inch dial that displays both pressure in PSI and temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius simultaneously. The unit includes a brass thermowell for stem-mount installation and is rated for pressures up to 75 PSI and temperatures from 60 to 320 degrees F. A relief set point indicator on the dial gives technicians a clear visual reference for system operating limits. Licensed plumbers and HVAC hydronic technicians are the primary installers of this gauge.
The TD-090 is used on hot water boiler systems where a single instrument is needed to monitor both system pressure and water temperature at a common point. Typical installation locations include the boiler supply line, near the pressure relief valve, or at a shutoff valve. The brass thermowell allows the temperature stem to be inserted into the water flow path without direct pipe penetration, making removal and replacement easier during service. The dual Fahrenheit and Celsius scale supports both field technicians and equipment documentation that references either unit.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation gauge for residential and light commercial hot water boiler systems requiring combined pressure and temperature monitoring at a single port.
Installation of the TD-090 should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified HVAC hydronic technician in accordance with local plumbing codes and IFGC guidelines. Shut down the boiler and relieve system pressure before removing any existing gauge or thermowell fitting. Apply appropriate thread sealant to the 1/4 inch NPT threads and avoid over-tightening the brass body. Verify the gauge reads within the normal operating range after system restart before returning the equipment to service.
