The HONEYWELL SILENT KNIGHT SK-MON-10 is a 10 input monitor module designed for use in fire alarm and life safety control systems. It expands the monitoring capacity of a compatible fire alarm control panel by providing ten supervised input points, allowing the panel to track the status of field devices such as contact closures, waterflow switches, tamper switches, and other initiating devices. Licensed fire alarm technicians and low-voltage systems integrators are the primary installers of this module. It serves as a core building block in structured fire detection systems where multiple input zones must be managed from a central panel.
The SK-MON-10 is suited for commercial and light industrial fire alarm installations where additional supervised monitoring points are needed beyond the base capacity of the control panel. Typical applications include multi-zone suppression system monitoring, sprinkler system supervisory and waterflow inputs, and integration of third-party contact-closure devices into a centralized fire alarm network. This module fits within fire alarm system architectures where expandability and zone granularity are required by the Authority Having Jurisdiction or the project design engineer.
Designed as an OEM-style expansion module for use with compatible HONEYWELL SILENT KNIGHT fire alarm control panel systems. Consult the project submittal drawings and the panel installation manual to confirm supported module configurations before installation.
Installation must be performed by a licensed fire alarm technician in accordance with NFPA 72 and all applicable local codes. Power down and isolate the fire alarm control panel before connecting or removing any module. Verify that the control panel firmware and hardware revision support the SK-MON-10 prior to commissioning. After installation, perform a full point-by-point functional test of all supervised inputs before returning the system to service.
