The HONEYWELL SILENT KNIGHT 006700 is a 100-point addressable fire alarm control panel designed for life-safety applications in commercial and light-industrial facilities. Addressable panels of this class allow each device on the loop to be individually identified and monitored, giving installers and monitoring personnel precise location data when an alarm or trouble condition occurs. The 006700 supports up to 100 addressable points, making it well-suited for mid-size buildings where zone-level granularity is not sufficient and point-by-point device mapping is required. Licensed fire alarm technicians are the primary installers of this equipment.
This panel is intended for use in commercial buildings, schools, healthcare facilities, and similar occupancies where a mid-capacity addressable fire alarm system is required. It serves as the central control and annunciation hub for the fire alarm system, connecting to addressable initiating devices such as smoke detectors, heat detectors, and manual pull stations, as well as notification appliances and suppression system interfaces. Install scenarios typically involve new construction or retrofit of an existing conventional system to an addressable architecture.
Designed as an OEM-style addressable fire alarm control panel for commercial life-safety systems supporting up to 100 addressable points. Confirm loop device compatibility and protocol support against the specific addressable devices planned for the installation before ordering.
Installation must be performed by a licensed fire alarm technician in accordance with NFPA 72, local fire codes, and the authority having jurisdiction. Disconnect and lock out all power sources, including the AC mains and any standby battery, before servicing or wiring the panel. All field wiring must comply with applicable NEC articles governing fire alarm circuits. Do not energize the panel until all addressable devices are wired, addressed, and verified against the as-built drawings.
