The HONEYWELL S4200HS is a lightweight wraparound safety glass designed for full-shift eye protection in industrial and trade work environments. Weighing 27.5 grams, the S4200HS uses Uvex Floating Lens technology to improve flexibility and fit across a wide range of facial profiles. The hard coat clear lens blocks 99.9% of UV radiation and is permanently bonded with an anti-scratch coating that resists chemical exposure and abrasion. An expandable wraparound brow, soft flexible nose piece, and soft temple tip pads work together to reduce pressure points and slippage during extended wear. Licensed HVAC technicians, electricians, plumbers, and general trade workers install and rely on these glasses daily for task-level eye protection.
The S4200HS is suited for indoor and outdoor trade applications where impact protection, UV filtering, and lens clarity are required. The clear lens tint is appropriate for standard indoor light conditions and general task visibility. The frame design accommodates a variety of facial profiles without tool-based adjustment. These glasses meet ANSI Z87.1-2015 and CSA Z94.3 safety standards, and select tints in the Protege line meet military V0 ballistic impact standards under MIL-PRF-31013, Clause 3.5.1.1, at impact energies 7 times higher than ANSI minimums.
Designed as an OEM-style personal protective eyewear unit sold individually, suitable for general trade and industrial use where ANSI Z87.1-2015 or CSA Z94.3 compliant eye protection is required.
Safety eyewear requires no installation tools. Inspect the lens and frame for cracks or deformation before each use and replace if damage is found. Follow the job site PPE program and applicable OSHA 29 CFR 1910.133 or 1926.102 requirements for eye and face protection selection. Do not use solvents or abrasive cloths when cleaning the lens, as these will degrade the hard coat.
