The HONEYWELL NP1TAN12 MasterSeal NP1 is a moisture-curing, single-component polyurethane sealant designed for permanent elasticity on active, vertical, and horizontal joints in both interior and exterior applications. Formerly sold as Sonolastic NP 1, this 10.1 oz tube formulation requires no mixing and bonds to concrete, masonry, aluminum, and wood without a primer. Joint movement capability is rated at plus or minus 35 percent. Under typical conditions, the sealant skins overnight within 24 hours, reaches functional cure in 3 days, and achieves full cure in 5 to 7 days. Longevity is rated at up to 15 years. The tan color dries smooth and accepts paint after curing.

This sealant is suited for use on expansion wall joints, floor and pavement joints, curtain walls, panel walls, precast concrete walls, window frames, structural components, dams, spillways, and storm water drains. It is appropriate for both residential and commercial construction and infrastructure applications. Licensed trades including contractors, waterproofing specialists, and glaziers rely on this product where long-term joint flexibility and adhesion to mixed substrates are required.
