The HONEYWELL NP1LMSTN12 is a moisture-curing polyurethane sealant sold under the MasterSeal NP1 product line, formerly marketed as Sonolastic NP 1. Packaged in a 10.1 oz tube in Limestone color, this single-component sealant delivers permanent elasticity across a wide range of interior and exterior joint applications. It bonds to concrete, masonry, aluminum, and wood without a primer, and requires no mixing before application. Joint movement capability is rated at plus or minus 35 percent. The sealant skins overnight, reaches functional cure in approximately 3 days, and achieves full cure in 5 to 7 days under ideal conditions. Shelf life is 12 months from date of manufacture.
This sealant is designed for active, vertical, and horizontal joints in both interior and exterior environments. Typical applications include expansion wall joints, floor and pavement joints, curtain walls, panel walls, precast concrete walls, window frames, structural components, dams, spillways, and stormwater drains. It is approved by the USDA for use in meat and poultry processing areas and carries Canadian approval for food-handling establishments. The product does not contain a fungicide but does not generally support mold or mildew growth. It dries smooth and is paintable once cured. Expected service longevity is up to 15 years.
Designed for use on concrete, masonry, aluminum, and wood substrates in active, vertical, and horizontal interior and exterior joint configurations including expansion joints, curtain walls, panel walls, precast walls, window frames, structural components, dams, spillways, and stormwater drains.
Application is typically performed by qualified construction trades, waterproofing contractors, or facilities maintenance professionals. Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of loose material before application. Follow applicable building codes and joint-design standards for movement joints. Do not apply to surfaces that are wet or subject to hydrostatic pressure during the curing period.
