The HONEYWELL ipc328sr3-adf28km-h is an 8-megapixel fixed-lens vandal-resistant mini dome network camera designed for indoor and outdoor IP surveillance installations. Built around a 1/2.8-inch CMOS sensor, the camera delivers up to 3840 x 2160 resolution at 20 frames per second and supports multiple lower-resolution streams at up to 30 fps. The 2.8mm fixed iris lens provides a 98.7-degree horizontal field of view, making it well suited for wide-area coverage in tight mounting locations. An integrated 850nm IR illuminator extends night vision to 30 meters. The unit supports Ultra 265, H.265, H.264, and MJPEG compression and is rated IP67 for weatherproofing and IK10 for impact resistance. Licensed security integrators and professional CCTV installers are the primary service trade for this device.
This camera fits residential and light commercial surveillance applications where a low-profile dome form factor is required. Typical deployments include entryways, corridors, parking structures, retail floors, and building perimeters. The 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range handles high-contrast scenes such as doorways with mixed interior and exterior lighting. Three-axis adjustment — pan 8 to 360 degrees, tilt 0 to 68 degrees, rotate 10 to 360 degrees — provides flexible aiming after mounting. Power is supplied via PoE (IEEE 802.3af) or DC 12 volts, eliminating the need for a separate power run in most installations.
Compatible with ONVIF Profile S, Profile G, and Profile T systems, as well as UNV-Link, UNV-Link Pro, and EZStation client software. Network integration is supported via a broad protocol stack including RTSP, HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP, FTP, and SNMP. Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-install IP dome camera for systems requiring an RJ45 10M/100M Ethernet interface.
Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage or security systems technician in accordance with applicable local codes and the NEC. Power down or disconnect the PoE switch port before wiring the network drop to the camera. Verify the mounting surface can support the camera assembly and use appropriate anchors for the substrate. Do not exceed the maximum microSD card capacity of 512 GB, and confirm the PoE switch port is IEEE 802.3af compliant before connecting.
