Honeywell Home Intrusion CELL-EXT Antenna Extension Cable

Product Description

The Honeywell Home Intrusion CELL-EXT is a remote antenna extension cable designed to improve cellular communicator signal reception in security and alarm system installations. It extends the antenna position away from the control panel enclosure, allowing the installer to place the antenna in a location with stronger cellular signal. This part is typically installed by licensed alarm and low-voltage technicians working on residential or light commercial intrusion detection systems.

The CELL-EXT is used in applications where the cellular communicator inside a panel enclosure experiences weak or obstructed signal. By relocating the antenna to an exterior wall, higher mounting point, or other optimal position, the cable helps maintain reliable communication between the alarm panel and the cellular network. It is sold as a single unit and is categorized as a communication accessory.
