Honeywell Home Intrusion 5820L 2-zone Door Window Transmitter

Product Description

The HONEYWELL HOME INTRUSION 5820L is a 2-zone slim wireless door and window transmitter designed for use in residential and light commercial security systems. This magnetic contact transmitter mounts to doors or windows and sends a wireless signal to a compatible security panel when the contact is broken. Its slim profile makes it suitable for installations where space is limited or where a low-visibility aesthetic is required. The white finish blends with standard door and window frames. Licensed security technicians and alarm installers are the primary trades that specify and install this device.

The 5820L is suited for residential intrusion detection systems and light commercial applications where wireless sensor placement is preferred over hardwired contact runs. Its 2-zone capability allows a single transmitter to report two independent contact points to the panel, reducing the number of transmitters needed on multi-point openings or paired entry points. It is used with door frames, window frames, and similar entry points as part of a broader wireless perimeter detection layout.
