Honeywell Home Intrusion 5800C2W 9-zone Converter

Product Description

The HONEYWELL HOME INTRUSION 5800C2W is a hardwired-to-wireless module converter designed to integrate existing hardwired zone sensors into a compatible wireless security system. This converter allows up to 9 hardwired zones to be transmitted wirelessly, eliminating the need to rewire or replace functioning hardwired detectors during a system upgrade. It is typically installed by licensed alarm technicians and low-voltage security installers working on residential or light commercial intrusion detection systems.

The 5800C2W is suited for retrofit installations where a property has an existing hardwired sensor network and the goal is to transition to a wireless-based control panel without disturbing the installed wiring infrastructure. It bridges legacy hardwired zones into a wireless receiver, making it a practical solution when upgrading or replacing a control panel in an existing installation.
