It mounts horizontally to a 2 x 4 electrical box or wall and covers previous thermostat footprints and wall marks while allowing thermostat wiring to pass through a central opening. The plate measures 7 7/8 in x 5 1/2 in and includes a bracket and mounting hardware for installation.
