The Honeywell Commercial Security HC35W45R3 is a fixed-lens rugged dome IP security camera rated at 5 megapixels and powered over Ethernet (PoE). Designed for demanding installation environments, this unit delivers high-resolution video capture without requiring a separate power supply run to the camera head. The PoE power architecture simplifies cable routing and reduces installation time on new and retrofit projects. Security integrators and low-voltage technicians install this camera in applications where a fixed field of view is acceptable and physical durability is a priority. The rugged dome housing is built to resist tampering and physical impact, making it a practical choice for demanding commercial and light industrial sites.
The HC35W45R3 is suited for commercial security installations where high-definition IP surveillance is required at a fixed vantage point. Typical deployment scenarios include retail environments, warehouses, building lobbies, parking structures, and perimeter coverage on commercial properties. The camera integrates into IP-based video management systems (VMS) and network video recorders (NVR) that support standard ONVIF or Honeywell-compatible protocols. Installation is performed by licensed low-voltage or security systems contractors familiar with structured cabling and IP network configuration.
Designed as an OEM-style fixed rugged dome IP camera for use with PoE-capable IP network video recorders and video management systems supporting 5MP camera inputs.
Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage or security systems technician in accordance with local codes and the NEC. Connect the camera to an IEEE 802.3af or 802.3at compliant PoE switch or injector before powering up the network port. Confirm network configuration and VMS compatibility prior to mounting the camera in its final position. Do not apply power until all cable connections are secured and the housing is properly seated.
