The HONEYWELL GC-647 is a metal gooseneck hose connector designed to angle a hose or hose-end accessory away from a hose bib. Built from zinc die-cast construction, it handles the mechanical stress of repeated connections in residential and light commercial outdoor plumbing applications. The connector features a 3/4-inch Female Hose Thread (FHT) inlet and a 3/4-inch Male Hose Thread (MHT) outlet, with a swivel nut that allows easy hand-tight installation without tools. Plumbers, irrigation techs, and facilities maintenance crews install this fitting where a straight hose connection would place excessive strain on the bib or cause interference with adjacent structures or fixtures.
This connector is suited for outdoor hose bib installations, garden irrigation setups, and anywhere a hose needs to route away from a wall or spigot at an angle. The gooseneck profile reduces lateral force on the hose bib connection point, which is particularly useful on older or exposed outdoor bibs. It is sold as a single unit and is compatible with standard 3/4-inch garden hose threads found on residential and light commercial water supply outlets.
Designed for use with standard 3/4-inch garden hose thread (GHT) hose bibs, spigots, and hose-end accessories. Compatible with hoses and fittings conforming to standard GHT dimensions.
Shut off the water supply to the hose bib before removing any existing fittings. Thread the FHT end onto the hose bib by hand, then tighten snugly — avoid over-torquing zinc fittings, which can crack under excessive force. Attach the hose or accessory to the MHT outlet using the swivel nut. Inspect for leaks after restoring water pressure.
