The HONEYWELL FIBRE-METAL csh12004 is a full-brim, non-vented safety helmet rated Type 2 and Class E for general-purpose head protection on job sites where workers face vertical, lateral, front, and rear impact hazards. Constructed from polyethylene with an HDPE impact-absorbing liner, the helmet meets ANSI Z89.1 and CSA Z94.1 standards for both Type I and Type II, Class E dielectric performance. The full brim wraps the entire perimeter of the hat, reducing glare, shielding the face and neck from sunlight, and helping to shed rain and debris. An 8-point ratchet suspension adjusts to fit head sizes ranging from 6-1/2 to 8, providing a secure, repeatable fit across a full shift.
This helmet is suited for construction, utility, telecommunications, climbing, and industrial applications where workers need reliable multi-directional impact protection. The Class E dielectric rating makes it appropriate for environments involving electrical hazard exposure. It is designed for installation and service crews working in the field, including lineworkers, ironworkers, and general construction trades. A standard sweatband is included, and the shell accepts a wide range of accessories through front, rear, side, and lamp-mount slots, making it adaptable to site-specific PPE requirements.

Hard hats should be inspected before each use for cracks, dents, or suspension damage and replaced if any damage is found. Always follow the manufacturer suspension adjustment procedure and confirm the ratchet locks securely before use. Do not apply paints, solvents, or adhesive labels to the shell, as these can degrade the polyethylene material and compromise impact performance. Replacement and fitting should conform to applicable site safety programs and ANSI Z89.1 guidelines.
