The HOMEWERKS WORLDWIDE LLC 7223-48-38-5E is a 48-inch universal stainless steel dishwasher connector designed to supply water from a shutoff valve to a residential dishwasher inlet. The connector terminates in 3/8-inch female compression fittings on both ends and ships with a full adapter kit that covers the most common connection configurations found in the field. The stainless steel construction resists corrosion and handles the flex and vibration typical in under-sink installations. Licensed plumbers and experienced DIYers install this connector as a direct supply line during new dishwasher installs or appliance replacements.
This connector is suited for standard residential dishwasher installations where the supply shutoff is within 48 inches of the appliance inlet. The included adapter kit accommodates 3/8-inch compression, 1/2-inch compression, 7/16-inch compression, and 1/2-inch female iron pipe connections. A 3/8-inch male compression x 1/2-inch male iron pipe elbow is also included for angled entry at the dishwasher. An additional adapter provides 3/8-inch male compression x 3/4-inch garden hose thread for installations requiring that end configuration.
Designed as a universal replacement or new-installation supply connector for standard residential dishwashers requiring 3/8-inch compression, 1/2-inch compression, 7/16-inch compression, 1/2-inch female iron pipe, or 3/4-inch garden hose thread inlet connections.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or qualified appliance installer. Shut off the water supply at the nearest isolation valve and relieve line pressure before disconnecting any existing supply line. Hand-tighten compression fittings first, then snug with a wrench — do not overtighten, as this can crack the compression seat. Verify there are no kinks in the connector after routing and confirm all connections are dry before restoring water supply.
