The HOMEWERKS WORLDWIDE LLC 41IP34 is a 3/4 inch internal pipe wrench designed for removing broken or frozen pipe nipples from fittings and threaded connections. Constructed of steel, this tool grips from the inside of a damaged nipple, giving the technician the leverage needed to back out stubborn or sheared pipe sections without damaging the surrounding fitting. It is a standard hand tool used in plumbing service work where conventional external wrenches cannot get a bite on a broken nipple flush with or below the fitting face.
This internal pipe wrench is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing applications. It is most commonly reached for during service calls where a nipple has sheared off during removal or has seized inside a fitting due to corrosion. The 3/4 inch size addresses one of the most common nominal pipe sizes encountered in domestic water supply and distribution systems. Plumbers and pipefitters carrying this tool avoid the time-consuming alternative of cutting out and replacing the entire fitting assembly.
Designed for use with 3/4 inch nominal pipe nipples in standard threaded pipe fittings. Typical applications include NPT-threaded fittings in copper, galvanized, and black iron piping systems.
This tool is used by licensed plumbers and pipefitters during maintenance and repair service. Before attempting nipple extraction, shut off and depressurize the affected water or gas line and verify the system is fully isolated. Apply penetrating oil to the broken nipple threads and allow adequate soak time to improve the chance of clean removal without further thread damage. Follow all applicable IPC and IFGC code requirements for the piping system being serviced.
