The Homewerks Worldwide LLC 7228-36-38-2 is a reinforced poly vinyl chloride faucet connector used to link supply stops to faucet inlets in residential and light commercial plumbing installations. It features a 3/8 inch compression inlet on one end and a 1/2 inch female iron pipe (FIP) outlet on the other, with a flexible 36 inch body length to span longer rough-in distances. The reinforced PVC construction resists kinking and provides durability under typical household water pressure. Licensed plumbers and skilled DIYers install this connector as a final supply link between the shut-off valve and the faucet tailpiece.
This connector suits under-sink faucet supply installations where a longer flexible line is needed, such as pedestal sinks, vanity installations with offset supply locations, or retrofits where rigid supply lines are not practical. The 3/8 inch compression end seats directly onto a standard compression-outlet angle stop, and the 1/2 inch FIP end threads onto standard faucet tailpieces. Sold in a package of 10 units, making it suitable for multi-fixture or contractor-quantity jobs.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation supply connector for residential and light commercial faucets with a 3/8 inch compression stop outlet and a 1/2 inch FIP tailpiece inlet.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified tradesperson following local plumbing code requirements. Shut off the water supply at the main or at the upstream isolation valve and relieve line pressure before disconnecting existing supply lines. Hand-tighten the compression fitting first, then snug with an adjustable wrench — do not overtighten, as excess force can crack the compression nut or deform the ferrule. Inspect for leaks at both connections after restoring water pressure.
