The HOMEWERKS WORLDWIDE LLC 7215-24-34FIP is a corrugated stainless steel water heater connector designed to link a residential water heater to its supply line. The connector measures 24 inches in length and features 3/4-inch Female Iron Pipe (FIP) fittings on both ends. Corrugated stainless steel construction provides flexibility during installation and resists corrosion in wet mechanical environments. The unit is lead free certified in compliance with federal drinking water regulations, making it suitable for potable water supply connections. Plumbers and plumbing contractors install this type of connector as a standard component in water heater rough-in and replacement work.
This connector is used in residential water heater installations where a flexible supply line is needed between the heater inlet and the cold or hot water stub-out. The 24-inch length accommodates typical clearances found in closet, alcove, and utility room installations. The 3/4-inch FIP x 3/4-inch FIP configuration matches standard residential water heater port sizing. It is appropriate for new installations as well as direct replacement of aging or corroded supply connectors during water heater changeouts.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement flexible connector for residential water heater cold and hot water supply connections using 3/4-inch Female Iron Pipe fittings.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and drain pressure from the line before disconnecting any existing connector. Hand-tighten FIP fittings first, then use a wrench to achieve a snug, leak-free connection — do not overtighten, as this can damage the fitting threads. Inspect for leaks at both connections after restoring water pressure.
