The Homewerks Worldwide LLC 7213-24-34-1 is a braided stainless steel water heater connector designed for residential water heater installations. It runs 24 inches in length and features 3/4-inch Female Iron Pipe (FIP) connections on both ends. The stainless steel braid provides resistance to corrosion, kinking, and physical damage common in utility and mechanical room environments. This connector is certified lead free in compliance with federal safe drinking water laws, making it suitable for potable water systems. Plumbers and water heater installers use this fitting to make the supply connection between a residential water heater and the cold-water stub-out or hot-water distribution line.
This connector is used in residential and light commercial water heater installations where a flexible, braided connection is required between the heater's inlet or outlet and the copper, iron, or CPVC supply lines. The 24-inch length provides enough flexibility to accommodate minor alignment offsets between the water heater and the wall or ceiling supply drops. Both FIP ends thread directly onto standard 3/4-inch male-threaded fittings or water heater inlet and outlet nipples without adapters.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation connector for residential water heaters with standard 3/4-inch male-threaded inlet and outlet connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the cold water supply and allow the system to depressurize fully before disconnecting any existing connector. Apply thread seal tape or approved pipe joint compound to all male threads before hand-tightening, then snug with a wrench. Do not over-torque the FIP connections, and inspect for leaks at both ends after restoring water pressure.
