The Homewerks Worldwide LLC 7213-18-34-2 is a braided stainless steel water heater connector designed to link a water heater to the supply line in residential plumbing installations. One end terminates in a 7/8 inch compression fitting; the other end is a 3/4 inch female iron pipe (FIP) threaded connection. The overall length is 18 inches. The connector is certified lead free in compliance with federal safe drinking water standards. The braided stainless steel jacket provides flexibility during installation while resisting corrosion and pressure stress over the service life of the connection.
This connector is used in residential water heater installations where a flexible supply line is required between the unit and the hot or cold water stub-out. The 18 inch length accommodates standard rough-in spacing and allows some positional adjustment when aligning to tank inlet and outlet ports. It is installed by licensed plumbers and experienced service technicians during new water heater installations or replacement of deteriorated flex connectors.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement flexible connector for residential water heater supply line applications requiring a 7/8 inch compression by 3/4 inch FIP configuration.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off the water supply and fully drain pressure from the line before disconnecting the existing connector. Hand-tighten the FIP connection first, then snug with a wrench — do not overtighten, as this can damage the fitting seats. Inspect both end connections for leaks after restoring water pressure.
